Upon entering the relaxing haven of Chaz Dean Studio, our newly remodeled Hollywood salon, you'll notice aromatherapy candles aglow and the scent of live orchids filling the air. Every detail has been carefully chosen to enhance this calming environment and provide clients with the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible. The bungalows and grounds have undergone a complete restoration, creating a modern salon while maintaining the unique 1920's Craftsman look and feel.
After experiencing hair services at his Hollywood salon, it's obvious how Chaz has successfully achieved his vision - honoring the whole person through exceptional service, beautifying the physical as well as the spiritual and truly connecting with each client. This vision began to take form in 1997 upon converting the old Hollywood Craftsman into an oasis unlike anything you could imagine finding in Los Angeles.
Clients have a place to come where they can relax and re-center themselves and simultaneously transform the way they look. Clients' needs are listened to and together, our stylists and clients create a style and color that feels authentic and also reveals a side of them that they have never seen. For the first time in many of their lives, clients love their hair. Something that may have never happened at any other Los Angeles or Hollywood salon.

The salon can be entered from two locations. Our parking lot entrance is located on Cole Pl., just off of Fountain Ave. Our street entrance is actually located at 1255 Cole Ave, just off of Fountain. Because we don't have any signs, it can be tough for first time visitors to locate. Just look for the Craftsman bungalows surrounded by the ivy-covered fence, and proceed to one of the entrances listed above.
